Nashville, TN / April 14, 2010 –
In addition to traveling around the United States and Canada on tour this season, Mark Miller, front man of the iconic country band Sawyer Brown, is lending his talents to Bucky Covington’s upcoming album.
In 2007, Mark and Bucky teamed up to work on Bucky’s self titled debut album, and the pair have returned to the studio to begin work on their second partnership. Bucky’s highly anticipated sophomore effort, “I’m Alright,” will feature his new single, “A Father’s Love (The Only Way He Knew How).” “When I first heard the song, it just hit me in my soft spot,” Covington says of the new single, written by Liz Hengber, Thom Shepherd, Steve Williams. The song was met with incredible feedback from fans after its debut on People.com this March. The album, entitled "I'm Alright," is scheduled to release this year.
In addition to both of Bucky Covington’s albums, Mark has lent his talents to several other projects spanning different genres. Through his imprint label, Beach Street Records, Mark has worked on a handful of projects with Grammy Award and Dove Award winning Christian band Casting Crowns, including their recent album, “Until the Whole World Hears,” which achieved more sales in its debut week than any other album by a Christian artist in Neilsen Soundscan history. Mark has also acted as producer for John Waller, whose hit single “While I’m Waiting” appeared in the successful Christian film “Fireproof,” Christian artist Michael English on his 2008 album “The Prodigal Comes Home,” and a slew of other artists including Warren Barfield, Josh Bates, FFH, Facing the Giants, Ryan Hanlon, and Kelly Pease.
